Central Pizza Pie - Pizza Pop Up March 10, 2019
Thanks to Central Pizza Pie and Curt's Cafe for the great pizza pop-up on Sunday, to everyone who joined us! We loved the gourmet pizza, salad and drinks. The Green River lime soda and Irish Potato pizza were definite favorites, just in time for St. Patrick's Day!
Tuesday Tunes at Bagel Arts Cafe Tuesdays in January & February
Thanks to everyone who stopped by Bagel Art Cafe at Dempster and Sherman in Evanston for live music, friendly faces, and warm treats every Tuesday in January and February. We listened to the sweet sounds of Nonamè, by Evanston's own Patrick Hughes, Debbie Adamson, John Adamson and Tony Spreitzer, while sipping our brew. Nonamè donated all of their tips during this time to Meals at Home.

Meals at Home is collaborated with the Evanston Public Library to lead a community discussion around hunger and food issues in our area. The panel discussed serving those in need in Evanston, and the common thread of address hunger, even within different missions, services, and clients.

North Shore CROP Hunger Walk: Sunday, October 15, 2017 Team Meals showed our Meals at Home pride and support ending hunger by walking with our team at the 2017 North Shore CROP Hunger Walk. We walked to end hunger and raise awareness of Meals at Home's work to our community.

COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS DAY 2017
Evanston’s 9th Ward Alderwoman Cicely Fleming, owner of Tag’s Bakery Gretchen Vetter, and owner of Hecky’s Barbecue, Hecky Powell teamed up with Meals at Home’s volunteers on March 30 to deliver meals as part of the national March for Meals Community Champions campaign. Thank you also for everything you do for your community and for supporting Meals at Home! Your continued support ensures we can continue to help our clients access nutritious foods on a daily basis.
So many to thank for Friday’s benefit…and for “helping us soar!” Our great benefit committee, our board directors, Hartline Investment Corp, the many auction item donors, the wonderful staff at the Hilton Garden, and the guests who came out in support of Meals at Home in every way…many thanks.
